PERRIER, PIERRE. (1906–?)
One of France’s top civilian security chiefs during the Indochina War. He joined the French resistance during World War II and received the
croix de guerre, 39–45. After World War II, he served in the metropolitan police force before landing in Indochina as a 1st rank administrator in the Corps de
liaison administrative pour l’Extrême-Orient. He began work officially for the high commissioner on 12 January 1946. At an unknown date but sometime in the late 1940s, Perrier became director of the Security Services for Indochina. Unfortunately, little else is known of his activities.
