Nguyen Thi Kim Chung was born in 1929 in the district of Tam Nong in the province of Phu Tho. She participated in her commune’s self-defense militia and was also the secretary of the commune’s women’s association. She was a member of the committee for youth and children in the commune of Di Nau.
