This cadre was born in 1926 in the district of Lam Thao in Phu Tho. He participated in the seizure of power in his commune in 1945. He was a teacher in binh dan hoc vu classes and was also a member of the youth committee (Ban thanh nien). From 1946 to 1951 he worked with his commune’s information department. In 1951 he became a member of the commune’s economy committee (Ban kinh te xa), and then became head of the commune’s guerrilla squad.
