This cadre was born in 1929 in the district of Phu My in Binh Dinh. Though she participated in the seizure of power in Da Lat in 1945, she was mostly active in Binh Dinh during the Indochina War. She taught in binh dan hoc vu classes, did propaganda and propaganda-training (tuyen huan) work, and participated in women’s and youth (thanh nien) associations. In 1955 she went to the North to participate in the campaign “against forced emigration” (chong cuong ep di cu) in Ninh Binh.
